What could lead one to feel so worthless as to end their life? Sorrow? Hopelessness? Self-loathing? Despair? Guilt? Was she on some medication that can have that tragic side effect?
The grief suicide brings to the remaining family never abates.

I didnt know this woman either. However I do know what it feels like emotionally, physically and pyschologically to lose someone suddenly and without reason (or an unknown reason. My family just recently loss my 29 year old niece. She was beautiful, active and fun loving. She died from a kidney infection that took over her body and she died in her bed. She left a 13 year old daughter. So just because one does not know a person who has died, it is only humanistic to feel pain and sadness. ReplyDeleteI didnt know this woman either. However I do know what it feels like emotionally, physically and pyschologically to lose someone suddenly and without reason (or an unknown reason. My family just recently loss my 29 year old niece. She was beautiful, active and fun loving. She died from a kidney infection that took over her body and she died in her bed. She left a 13 year old daughter. So just because one does not know a person who has died, it is only humanistic to feel pain and sadness. For those who are ignorant, and sexist maybe you should take a walk in someone else's shoes and experience an taste of reality!!!

ReplyDeleteIt is very sad. But the truth is no one knows what happened. Suicide is an intentional act. The authorities may have jumped to that comclusion. Her balcony was closed with simple construction mesh, which she cut. Maybe she just wanted to go out, look at the city, feel the night air. Maybe she tripped out there and fell to her death, a tragic accident. Now everyone sees "pain in her eyes" and "emptiness in her soul."

My apologies, but if this is the saddest thing you've heard of, you've got to be kidding - AIDS, and Middle Eastern battles that have been running for hundreds of years... those are more to talk about.
